A better looking GIMP

With an update to version 2.6, GIMP addresses some longstanding complaints about the interface. According to an article at Webmonkey, the user interface is now a lot closer to that of Photoshop. The new version brings with it a bunch of other changes, which are listed in the release notes.

2. It looks like you have to download the source code and compile it if you want version 2.6. Check out the downloads.
