Find the Mac software you're looking for at Amazon.

A freeware wiki

We’ve found yet another collection of freeware and open source software, but before you get too excited about FOSSwiki we should mention that you have to sift through a lot of Windows and Linux apps to find the Mac gems. Also, when they say a program runs on the Mac, what they really mean (sometimes) is that it runs on Java, which is not quite the same thing.

In any case, it really is a huge list, so if you’re desperately seeking freeware, it may be worth exploring. The apps are divided into categories that you can go through with a table of contents.

The Mac apps have an M in a little box beside them, but otherwise there is no easy way to sort them out. It would be great to have a one-click way of doing this. The good news is that this truly is a wiki, so you can edit it yourself. Pump up those Mac entries!
