Almost like English

I’m a longtime fan of AppleScript because I like the way it automates repetitive tasks and frees up time for the more creative stuff. So I was interested to learn that there have been improvements to AppleScript in Leopard, some of which are outlined at Apple’s website.

Typically, Apple likes to say AppleScript is easy to use because the code it uses is similar to English, making many of the commands more logical. I agree with the sentiment, but I had to laugh when I saw this sentence near the end:

Like AppleScript code, this sentence is similar to English, but not quite.
