Battle of the newsreaders

Following the decision to make NetNewsWire freeware, Lifehacker has put together an extensive comparison of web-based and desktop-based newsreaders. As we’ve mentioned before, thriftmac statistics show our readers prefer Google and other web-based newsreaders. And a poll at the end of the Lifehacker shows a similar preference, with about 70 per cent in favour of web-based newsreaders.
