Fifty-seven great ones

MacApper has a list of 57 (as of this writing) great Mac freeware apps. Virtually all of them are listed here at thriftmac, so I’m forced to agree that it’s a good list. My only quibble is the inclusion of Mozy, which is an online backup service. It’s free, it works with Macs, but is it truly a Mac freeware app? I have the same problem with the macdevcenter blog, which has a weekly listing of free and open source software. Much of it consists of web-based apps, which in my mind don’t really count.
