Great freeware, great reviews
It’s just coincidence, of course, but it’s weirdly wonderful to see three reviews — all within the space of a couple of days — of some of the best Mac freeware available. Low End Mac asks whether there is a good alternative to Photoshop that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg, and comes up with an in-depth look at Seashore. Macworld finds that Bean is a great word processor for those who want more than TextEdit but don’t need iWork. And an extensive review of RSS reader NetNewsWire concludes with a five-mouse rating.
