Nvu

Nvu is a promising new WYSIWYG web editor with the added benefit of content management system. It seems to be primarily for Linux, so you might find the interface a bit jarring. Mozilla and Amaya seem cumbersome, but may be to your liking.

  1. Nvu (pronounced “N-view”) is a discontinued WYSIWYG HTML editor, KompoZer, maintains Nvu codebase and fixes bugs until a successor to Nvu is released.

  2. It’s been about a year since KompoZer had an update, so development may be stalled there as well. Proceed with caution or, better still, learn to code by hand ;)
