A Cocoa-based paint program similar to Microsoft Paint and the now-defunct MacPaint. It can open and save to most major image formats, including BMP, PNG, JPEG, and GIF.

  1. Honestly, I wasn’t impressed. Or pleased. This program bills itself as “similar to MS Paint”, but some of the features I prefer to use are nonexistent. Moreover, an attempt to use this froze my computer for several hours—not seconds, not minutes, HOURS. I had to leave my computer alone overnight to get it to work again. I give it a half a star.
