giving an effect very like abstract oils.
Too simplistic for what I wanted to use it for, but very good for an intermediate photo editor.
The latest version, 0.5.0, released in June 2010 as a preview is great! Very clean interface (all in one window, Leopard style).
Please don’t judge if you just have seen the old version (0.1.9), the new one has much more filters, effects, etc. For me, this is the GIMP for mac or “the rest of us”, easy to use but powerful. So I think if you want to buy Pixelmator, Acorn or whatever, have a look at Seashore first.
However, great to see Seashore is being developed again, there was a long halt I think (from 2007 till 2010 wasn’t too much new stuff) I thought it was dead already…
