VirtueDesktops is "very nice"
About This Particular Mac has a generally good review of VirtueDesktops.
The program continues to be one of the most popular among thriftmac visitors, although the reasons for this may not be what you think. My theory is that many people come here because they can’t find the download link on the VirtueDesktops website. Read more about it in a previous post.
I’m not sure if this still holds true, though, because as of this writing the website was not even responding. I hope that we’re not seeing the program’s demise. Developer Tony Arnold has told thriftmac that he would soldier on despite the recent announcement of Spaces—a similar concept to VirtueDesktops—in the coming update to OS X.
