Widgets from everywhere
A few months ago we mentioned a new program that converts Google gadgets into Mac widgets. Well, Amnesty Generator has grown up to version 1.0, and does a lot more than just convert gadgets. Now you can convert Grazr RSS readers, YouTube videos and more.
Very cool, except for one thing — I can’t get it to fire up. I had an earlier version working fine, but this one just bounces in the dock, then quits. I fired off a bug report, so we’ll see what happens. But just because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. Give it a try.
Update: The developer fixed the problem in less than two hours. Now that’s performance. I’m sure there will be an update soon, possibly even by the time you read this.
